This Flint and Flame bread knife is slightly different from most knives, we use what is known as a rolling serration or scalloped blade, it gives you a cut instead of a tear which you often get with a conventional bread knife.

The reason for its unusual shape is to give you more knuckle clearance, making it easier to finish slicing the bread anywhere on the board.
