Hoffman was one of the founders of the Vienna Secession movement, his original architectural and jewellery design is the inspirations for this intricate brooch set with four different gem stones.
Inspired by Gesso panels created by Margaret Macdonald, wife of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Macdonald used glass beads often in her Gesso paintings and Bolton has carried on this tradition substituting them for semi precious gemstones such as Rhodolite Garnet and Peridot in this piece.
This simple but stunning brooch is handmade in silver with accents of Goldplate. These little flowers are the first sign that there are warmer brighter days ahead.
