Born in Dorset, Martin Wiscombe studied illustration at Redruth Art College, Cornwall. Following 20 years in the advertising and craft industries, Wiscombe decided to return to his first love, painting. Wiscombes work is primarily inspired by his lifelong love of the Dorset seaside; the result of childhood summers spent on the beach in Lyme Regis or on his grandfathers deep-sea fishing boat. Painting primarily on wood, reminiscent of the driftwood found on beaches, Wiscombes pieces have a natural, innocent feel reflecting his admiration for naive and primitive art. In 1989, Wiscombe escaped from urban mayhem to a farmhouse in the countryside. He remains a convert to the pleasures of rural life, living with his two children and horses in Wiltshire.

We want you to be completely satisfied with the item/s you purchase from us. You may return or exchange your item within 30 days of delivery.

The following products are non-returnable and therefor not eligible for refunds or exchanges:

- Light bulbs and all electrical accessories
- Lampshades which have had the protective cellophane removed
- Sale items (unless faulty)
- Items not returned in new, resalable condition

How to Return an Item
To qualify for a return, an item must be unused, in its original resalable condition, and include all packaging and accessories, if applicable. Please include a copy of your dispatch note which accompanied the item and a note stating why you are returning it and whether you’d like a refund or exchange. We suggest you return the item to us via tracked delivery, just in case it goes missing in transit. Please keep a note of the tracking number.

Refund Timescales
Once we’ve received and inspected your returned item, we’ll process your refund within 7 working days. Once the refund is initiated, you will receive an automated notification that it has been completed. Please allow up to 10 working days for the funds to appear in your account, this varies according to individual banks and payment providers. Refunds will always be made to your original payment method.
