Delivery Information

UK Mainland – Standard Signed Delivery (2–5 Working Days)

Most orders are delivered within 2–3 working days, but made-to-order items may take longer. Delivery charges depend on the weight and size of the product:

  • Up to 0.99 kg: £7.50
  • 1 kg – 1.99 kg: £9.50
  • 2 kg – 3.49 kg: £12.50
  • 3.5 kg – 4.99 kg: £17.50
  • 5 kg – 9.99 kg: £22.50
  • 10 kg – 29.99 kg: £40.00
  • Over 30 kg: £75.00

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday, approximately between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, excluding Sundays and public holidays. Outlying areas may take longer.

Isle of Man – Standard Signed Delivery (3–7 Working Days)

  • Up to 0.99 kg: £12.50
  • 1 kg – 1.99 kg: £18.00
  • 2 kg – 4.99 kg: £30.00
  • 5 kg – 9.95 kg: £55.00
  • 10 kg – 29.99 kg: £75.00
  • Over 30 kg: £95.00

Delivery is Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Orders typically arrive within 5–7 working days, but delays may occur due to Covid-19 impacts. Large mirrors and furniture are not delivered to the Isle of Man or other outlying UK islands.

Orders usually arrive within 6–15 working days. We operate under a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. Any import duties, fees, or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. Check with your local customs office for further details.

Additional Information

  • Heavy and Bulky Items: Delivery costs for heavy and bulky items will be displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery Times: All delivery times are estimates, and they may vary depending on destination, product size, and other factors.
  • Customs and Import Duties: For international orders, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or additional charges that may apply upon delivery.

Additional UK Deliveries Info

Some items are dispatched directly from our suppliers and may arrive separately. We’ll send tracking details where available. Couriers prefer a mobile number for delivery updates via text. Depending on size, weight, and value, we use Royal Mail or a courier and may require a signature.

International Deliveries – Additional Information

Shipping to the EU (including Luxembourg): Import Duties and VAT

Following the UK’s exit from the EU, all orders we send to EU countries are treated as international exports.

While you will pay us at checkout for your goods and shipping, please be aware that:

  • Your order may be subject to import duties, VAT, and handling fees when it arrives in your country.

  • These charges are determined by your local customs authority and collected by the delivery courier on their behalf.

We ship all orders on a DAP (Delivered at Place) basis (also known as DDU – Delivered Duty Unpaid). This means we cover the shipping cost, but any customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

We DO NOT offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping, where all duties and taxes would be paid in advance by us and included in your order total.

Product Availability

If an item is unavailable, we’ll notify you quickly and offer a similar alternative or full refund.

Order Dispatch Timeline

We aim to dispatch all orders within 2–3 working days unless the item is bespoke or made to order in which case it will take longer. Occasionally, supplier stock issues or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control may affect the dispatch timeline. We will always keep you updated in the unlikely event that this happens.

A Delivery Note is included in your parcel as proof of delivery.

Age Verification For Bladed Products (Specifically Flint and Flame Chef Cooking Knives)

Under UK law (Offensive Weapons Act 2019), it is illegal to sell knives to individuals under 18. We only sell Flint and Flame chef knives. Age verification is mandatory for any order containing a bladed product.

Acceptable ID includes a passport, driving licence, or birth certificate. Once verified, you won’t need to do this again for future orders.
